Westminster Colorado Gains Deepak Chopra’s Wellness Center

Deepak Chopra, well-known spiritual guru, has made the decision to locate his Ananda condominium project and wellness center adjacent to the Westin Westminster Hotel, owned by Inland Pacific. The center, called the Rocky Mountain Chopra Center and Spa, includes a $40 million luxury residential and hotel condominium property with 17,000 square feet of retail space. Chopra also has wellness centers located in California, New York and Georgia. The development will be located along the Boulder/Denver corridor. Condominiums start in the $200 to $300 thousand range. This development represents a “shot in the arm” for this part of the City of Westminster which was economically impacted by the melt down in the early 2000’s of high technology companies, most notable of which were Sun Microsystems and Level 3, located in the nearby Interlocken office park.
